Wall Street Journal South East Asia reports that the Google Street View team landed in Manila yesterday. Google Street View is one of the awesome feature of Google Maps and Google Earth where you could virtually see the streets and the cities in ground level. Think of it as a virtual tour.
It’s exciting that Google is putting the Philippines on this virtual map. 🙂
Not every street in the Philippines will be captured, however. Google will focus more on capturing off-road and indoor locations.
This could help locals and tourists alike in virtually exploring the Philippine streets before diving into an actual adventure. Or if you’re bored and want to spot some really weird stuff that Google Street View captures. 🙂
Wouldn’t it be awesome to spot the Google Street View car on your area?
