Generic Bluetooth Keyboard Case for the iPad Review

First of all, I want you to know that this is my first gadget review in YouTube! πŸ™‚ Β I was really excited about this product, so I wanted to share it as soon as I can.

The package came with:

  • The bluetooth keyboard case
  • USB charger
  • Manual

The Good:

  • It’s really cheap compared to other keyboard cases like Zaggmate and Targus.
  • The design is neat and simple.
  • The placement of the keys are like the MacBook.
  • It has awesome shortcut buttons to easily control the iPad.
  • Typing is made easy.

The Bad:

  • The one and off switch is hard to access.
  • Apostrophe key is not in the right place.

A couple of things that I want to add that I wasn’t able to cover in the video:
β€’ Pairing the iPad with the bluetooth keyboard was really easy. It only takes a few seconds.

β€’ You can also use the keyboard for other devices like the iPod touch, PS3, or any device that has bluetooth.

I know I still have to improve on a lot of things, but I hope that I was able to provide you with a helpful review.

What do you think of the bluetooth keyboard? Are you planning on getting one? Or are you satisfied with how you use your iPad? πŸ™‚

  • Hi, thought id drop by your blog and check it out. I saw a link from your fb wall :).

I use a usb keyboard for my ipad as well. It makes for a great back up writing device combo and it’s especially useful now that macbook charger is dead (must get a new one).

I never liked the generic ones though and i already had a leather case when i was looking for one so i didnt need another one. i went for the generic cdrking keyboard. It pretty much works the same way as the one you have except that its just the keyboard.

But what i love most about it is that its got those really cool spaces inbetween the keys and ive been spoiled by this apple innovation and will never go back to the regular ones again lol.

Only cost me 800 or 900 bucks. But i had to buy 2 tripple A rechargeable bats tho. Cdr king has some cheap ones.

The usb keyboard has done a lot for me productivity wise. I always end up having to proof read and edit everything i write on my laptop or pc because the ipad apps’ spell check and formating features need some work. But at least i can churn out my drafts on my ipad really fast now.

Great review by the way and thanks for the add on FB.

Thanks for dropping by! I actually feel the same way! I am becoming more of a MAC girl, and will probably never use another laptop or netbook. πŸ™‚ I actually thought of buying the ones from CDR King, but I wanted a keyboard that came with a case. It’s a good thing I just bought a generic keyboard because I rarely use it. Right now, I am using Samsung 7.7 for a tablet, and I am loving Android! It’s my first time to use Android as an OS. I came across your blog when I was looking for freelance writers in the Philippines. I saw that you have awesome resources for freelance writers. Will check it out again. πŸ™‚

  • Which blog did you run into?

Coz i have two of them but the other one i havent updated in a while (filipinofreelancewriter.com). I mainly used that to hold samples that i can direct potential clients to.

I plan to work on that soon though but i need to transfer it to a new host first. It’s still on wordpress and there are just so many things that wordpress hosting doesn’t let you do.

They were cheap though so I got them initially.
