Hope you’re all having a great week so far! 🙂
So, what did you miss in Facebook this week?
This week there’s quite a lot of “controversies”.
Let’s start with Anne!
I really don’t follow showbiz news, but the other day two of my friends have the same exact status. It said:
“I can buy you, your friends, and this club.” -Anne Curtis
I thought it was a line from a movie. But it didn’t seem right. So, I googled the entire sentence and found out about Anne’s infamous incident.
Here’s a statement from Anne’s page (This is a fan page not her official page):
Of course, Miriam Santiago is the favorite of millions of Filipino netizens. It seems that her speech went viral. A lot of my friends shared it in Facebook and tweeted about it.
She deserves to get all this attention!
I haven’t finished listening to the entire speech yet. But if you missed it, here’s the video:
In other news, let’s talk about fiction turning into reality.
When I watched Iron Man, I’ve always wanted to talk to Jarvis. With Google Now, we all can!
Another Google news. As you know, Google is one of the most aggressive tech companies when it comes to Research and Development. It seems they’re always experimenting and shaping our future.
The New York Times’ John Markoff reveals that, led by the former head of its Android mobile operating system, Google is quietly buying up robotics startups for a project that appears more than just experimental.
Now, that you know about Google’s latest acquisitions. You’ll understand my Facebook status:
With Google buying everything and acquiring robotics companies, it won’t be long until the “machines rise up”.
